2025 Kickball Tournament 

Dear Sir or Madam  

Take 16 Staff of picturesque Luverne, Minnesota challenges you to a jovial day of kickball and beer drinking. Don’t expect a pleasant schoolyard game. Anticipate a bear knuckle beat down from some of the badest brewers in the Midwest. If you’ve got the guts to assemble a team of ballers, we’ve got the fields to destroy your dreams. Ball busting and beer drinking begins Saturday June 21st, 2025, at 10am. Bring one 1/6 barrel of your best summertime suds for a public tasting. More importantly come packing a cooler of your best stuff for “Show & Tell Time” in the players/brewers only area.  

Festivities to take place on Saturday June 21st, 2025 at Take 16 Brewery and Riverside Softball Park in beautiful Luverne, Minnesota. This will be a ten-team double elimination tournament. A $100 registration fee and a commitment to provide a 1/6th barrel for the public tasting is required to ensure your place in the Balls Out 4 Beer 2025. 

Team Captains will need to roster co-ed teams of 8-18 players. Rosters may have more women than men but may NOT have more men than women. Teams must have 8 players not exceeding 10 players to field. Teams may not exceed 18 players. Players may not be added after the roster is submitted @ 10am June 21st. players in the line-up and alternate male and female in kicking order (again- more women than men, not more men than women). 

Games will start on time. Games will last 7 full innings or 40 minutes; no new innings are to start after the time cap has been called. In the event of a tie score at the end of the game, additional innings will be played. Please have your teams ready at the scheduled times flowing. The Championship Game is scheduled for 6pm and Balls Out 4 Beer 2025 trophy presentation and festivities will take place immediately following across the Rock River at Take 16 Brewing Company.

• Each team must submit a roster of up to 18 players prior to their first game. A player must be on the roster submitted to play in any game thereafter. A player may only be on one team’s roster.

• Each team must field at least 8 players and have no more than 10 in the field. A team may have more women than men but may NOT have more men than women.
